Episode 2: Meet Baby Brooks!

Awww I'm so glad you have a blog I can follow and see updates on Brooks! :)I think I am following twice, but don't know how to fix that, lol

About Us (but mainly about me)

To begin, I have a pretty checkered past -just ask my dad! I spent the years after high school traveling, being poor, drinking beer, finding God, and really figuring out life for myself. Highlights include: four years at Colorado State making the best friends a girl could have and not always making it to class; traveling and volunteering in Africa and Costa Rica; visiting a dozen states in the year of Americorps; playing with my sister in Spain; and trekking to every state and country I could find a couch and a familiar face. Finally, after a long and winding road, I found my way back home to Oklahoma. Oklahoma is where I stayed mostly due to a crazy dude with the best Redneck name in the book - Willie. Thank God (literally) he's only about 1/16th redneck and more of a goofy, loud, VERY opinionated, HILARIOUS, pseudo-hippy who loves the country club as much as he loves camping in the mountains! We have a wonderful love/hate relationship and find that for some reason our friends like to hang out with us and listen to our banter. All joking aside he is an AMAZING husband and I don't think I've not laughed a day since I met him. He is my perfect provision, and he lets me be MYSELF no matter how off my rocker I may get. Last, but definitely not least, as of 12/21/2010 we are a party of 3!!! I know I am biased but we were just blessed with the most adorable, cuddly, sweet and funny little baby boy. Brooks is the most awesome thing we have ever done and we thank God for him every day! I started this blog to chronicle our lives and the inevitable laughs that come with it, tune in for more.
